  • To enrol in the Bachelor of Education in Special Educational Needs, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
  • Hold a recognised high school diploma, certificate of completion, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Possess relevant professional experience or recognised prior learning credits, where applicable.
  • Demonstrate basic English proficiency through an IELTS score of 5.0, completion of high school education in the English medium, or a minimum of 55% marks in English at the high school level.

  • Core (100 Credits): Foundations of Education, Instructional Methods, Measurement, Assessment and Evaluation in Education, Professional Ethics in Education, Educational Technology, Issues and Trends in Special Education, Psychology of Learning, Learning and Teaching, Introduction to Counselling, Approaches to Classroom Management.
  • Specializations (50 Credits): Understanding ADHD and Impact of ADHD, Understanding Down syndrome, Autism (Features , Identification ,Support and Closer look), Learning Disabilities ( Identification , instructional approaches and helping learners with LD), Learning Disabilities – A deeper look into varied disorders.
  • Teaching Practice (30 Credits): The programme includes an evidence-based practicum with a minimum of 45 hours of supervised classroom engagement. Learners document their development through observed Teaching Practice records and submit performance-based evidence demonstrating their teaching competencies with real learners.
  • Action Research Project (30 Credits): A specialised research study aligned with the learner’s selected area of focus. This component combines action research methodology, reflective teaching practices, and subject-specific investigation to strengthen analytical thinking and professional development. Through the action research project, learners critically explore real-world challenges, implement evidence-based interventions, and reflect thoughtfully on their practical experiences.

Upon successful completion of the programme up to the Specialisation modules, learners will be eligible to receive the B.Ed. certificate awarded by East Bridge University (EBU), along with an official transcript reflecting 180 credits.

Upon completing the full programme, including the Teaching Practice component and the Action Research Project, learners will qualify for the B.Ed. certificate awarded by Preah Sihamoniraja Buddhist University (PSBU), accompanied by a transcript reflecting 240 credits.
